(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 22, in Vinh City, the preparatory session of the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province for the period 2010 - 2015 took place.
Also attending were comrade Le Xuan Dai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Xuan Son, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee and more than 500 delegates attending the congress.
Before the preparatory Congress session, the Delegation came to offer flowers and report to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square.

The Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province for the period 2010 - 2015 took place in the atmosphere of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army striving to compete to achieve many achievements to celebrate the important anniversaries of the country and the province, to welcome the 5th Provincial Party Congress, towards the 17th National Congress of the Party. In the past 5 years, promoting the revolutionary tradition of the Soviet homeland, the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh and implementing Uncle Ho's teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism is emulation", the Party Committee, Government and people of Nghe An province have deployed and implemented many patriotic emulation movements in all fields. Notable are the emulation movements "Nghe An joins hands to build new countryside", "Loyal, creative, dedicated, exemplary cadres, civil servants and public employees", "Farmers compete to produce and do business well, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably", "Good workers, creative workers", "Teach well - study well", "All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas", the emulation movement "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh"... These patriotic emulation movements have attracted the participation of all classes of people.

At the same time, drawing valuable lessons on leadership and direction of organizing emulation movements and commendation work, thereby setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions, continuing to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements in the next 5 years, period 2016 - 2020.

At the Preparatory Congress, a report on the quality of delegates attending the Congress was heard, and the Congress regulations were approved. The Presidium and Secretariat were elected, and delegates to attend the 9th National Patriotic Emulation Congress were elected. The list of advanced models who presented at the official Congress and the Exchange Night was approved. The Nghe An Province Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2010 - 2015 had 565 official delegates, including 222 advanced models. The oldest delegate was Mr. Ho Ngoc Chieu, a veteran revolutionary, and the youngest delegate was Nguyen Ngoc Khanh, a former student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
