(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 22, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2011 - 2015. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council chaired.
Attending the meeting were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress and representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and unions.

According to the report of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board, up to now, the whole province has basically completed the Conference of advanced models at the grassroots level (including units under departments, branches, districts, cities, towns; enterprises, and associations); 58/64 units of provincial departments, branches, and associations and 20/21 districts, cities, and towns have completed the Conference of advanced models at the grassroots level.

According to the draft plan for organizing the Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2011 - 2015, the Congress will take place in September 2015 in Vinh City. The total number of delegates is expected to be 550, including official delegates and invited guests. The main activities at the Congress are: Summarizing the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2011 - 2015; Exchange of advanced models; Commendation, honor, and reward; Launching the emulation for the period 2016 - 2020 and electing the Delegation to attend the National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
To prepare for the Congress, the Organizing Committee established subcommittees including: Content and Delegation Subcommittee; Propaganda and Arts Subcommittee; Logistics and Reception Subcommittee; Security and Order Subcommittee. Preparations are expected to be completed before July 30.
At the meeting, delegates contributed some more ideas to the draft Congress Organization Plan such as time, location, propaganda slogan, guest list...
