The Congress elected the Presidium consisting of 17 Politburo members and comrade Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Congress elected the Secretariat consisting of 5 comrades and the Congress Delegate Qualification Examination Committee consisting of 13 comrades.

The Congress voted in favor of and unanimously approved the Report on the verification of the qualifications of delegates to the 13th National Party Congress presented by the Delegate Qualifications Verification Committee. Accordingly, all 1,587 delegates summoned to attend the Congress are qualified to be delegates to the Congress.

On the morning of January 26, the 13th National Party Congress will officially open solemnly at the conference hall. According to the announcement of the Congress Organizing Committee, the 13th National Party Congress will take place from January 25 to February 2. The Congress has 1,587 delegates attending, the highest number among 13 Congresses.

The delegation of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee attending the 13th National Party Congress was elected by the 19th Provincial Party Congress, consisting of 29 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the 13th Congress discussed and approved: Political Report at the 13th National Party Congress; Summary Report on the implementation of the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy (2011 - 2020), building the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy (2021 - 2030).

The Congress will also discuss and approve the Report on the assessment of the results of the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development tasks (2016-2020) and the direction and tasks of the 5-year socio-economic development (2021-2025); the Report summarizing the Party building work and the implementation of the Party Charter during the 12th Congress term; the Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 12th Party Central Committee (submitted to the 13th Congress).
