On March 11, the Thanh Chuong District Protective Forest Management Board (Nghe An) said that a company in Hanoi is requesting to transfer a nearly 40-year-old elephant from this center to Hanoi to prepare for the celebration of the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi will take place in 10 days.

The content of the special program celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi was completed by a group of authors including artists Trong Khoi, Le Chuc, Doan Hoang Giang and writer Nguyen Khac Phuc (editor-in-chief) and submitted to the Government for approval.
