At the ceremony, distinguished guests, monks and nuns and more than 2,000 Buddhists participated in chanting Buddha's name, offering flowers to celebrate Buddha's birthday, performing the incense offering ceremony to the Buddha's bed, and celebrating Buddha's birthday. Before entering the sacred Buddha bathing ceremony, doves and hundreds of balloons were released into the sky as wishes for peace and happiness for all mankind.
