Israeli Ambassador believes in the development of high-tech agriculture in Nghe An

On the morning of July 10, the delegation of the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nadav Eshcar visited and worked in Nghe An. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh welcomed the delegation's visit and informed the delegation of the province's advantages and development potential.

Nghe An has a growing economy, with a budget revenue of 500 million USD/year and an annual growth rate of 8%. The province also focuses on industrial development, promoting the attraction of many domestic and foreign investors, especially from East Asian and Southeast Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, and Thailand.

"Israel is a country that possesses many leading scientific and technological applications in the world. In the trend of strong development of science and technology, Nghe An hopes that Israeli investors will help and support the province to access modern technology" - Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh expressed, at the same time sharing the direction of cooperation in the agricultural sector.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that to create a breakthrough for agriculture in the coming time, it is necessary to focus on 3 factors: applying science and technology, attracting investment enterprises, and developing consumption markets. In Nghe An, many enterprises have invited Israeli engineers and experts to consult, learn and apply high-tech agricultural models, in which, the leader is TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company in Nghia Dan district.

"This is a very promising field between Vietnam and Israel. I hope that in the near future, many Israeli experts will come to Nghe An to train many agricultural specialists" - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh shared.

In addition, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh hopes that after this visit, the Ambassador and his members will help Nghe An province to continue developing good friendship with Israeli businesses and investors, creating many opportunities for close cooperation with Israel, especially in the field of technology.

On behalf of the delegation, Ambassador Nadav Eshcar thanked the leaders of Nghe An province for their warm welcome. After learning about the natural conditions and favorable conditions for socio-economic development of Nghe An, especially in the field of agriculture, the Ambassador expressed his desire to cooperate and support the province in methods and technologies for efficient use of water resources.

Impressed by the scale and development of the TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company farm, the ambassador emphasized that this is a typical example of the cooperative relationship between Israel - Vietnam in general, Israel - Nghe An in particular; at the same time, he expressed his belief that there will be many partners and investment models in Nghe An.

With the desire to promote and witness more cooperation in the field of high-tech agriculture, the Ambassador invited the delegation of Nghe An province to attend the Agricultural and Post-Agricultural Development Workshop in November. Here, the Nghe An delegation will have the opportunity to meet, exchange, discuss and cooperate with many high-quality agricultural experts and engineers from Israel.

In addition, Ambassador Nadav Eshcar also wishes to cooperate with Nghe An in a number of fields of education, health, tourism, culture, such as: organizing an 11-month course in Israel for students to provide useful knowledge as well as opportunities for practical experience; training in first aid skills in emergency cases; organizing Israel Day in Vinh city to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel...

The proposals of the Israeli Embassy delegation were noted by the leaders of Nghe An province and will be implemented soon in the coming time.
