"We have to take it (the threat) seriously. We cannot trust Russia. We should never trust Russia," she said in the interview.
In addition, Ms. Haley supported US President Donald Trump's new immigration decree and said that the document was different from the measures that Mr. Trump proposed during the election campaign.
Earlier, Ms. Haley said that improving relations between Washington and Moscow was possible, but not at the expense of US allies. She also noted that sanctions against Russia would not be lifted until the Minsk agreements were fully implemented.
The Russian Federation has repeatedly stated that it is impossible to tie Western sanctions to the implementation of the Minsk agreements because Russia is not a party to the Ukrainian conflict.
