Chinese Embassy in the US claims Beijing has nothing to do with the conflict in Ukraine
China is making constructive efforts to promote a political settlement of the Ukraine crisis, not taking sides and asking the United States not to interfere in “normal relations” between Beijing and Moscow.
The above content was told by Chinese Embassy spokesman Liu Pengyu to Sputnik.
"China is neither the creator nor a party to the Ukraine crisis. We are playing a constructive role in supporting a political solution," a representative of the Chinese diplomatic mission in the United States said in response to a request for comment in the US media.

US intelligence has information that China is increasing the supply of equipment to Russia, including electronics, high-tech products and technical equipment to support its activities in Ukraine.
Commenting on this, the Chinese diplomat stressed that, “China does not supply weapons to any party (in the conflict), and normal trade between China and Russia will not be interfered with or restricted.”
“We urge the United States to abandon its attempts to smear and belittle the normal relations between China and Russia,” the embassy spokesman said.
Earlier, commenting on the meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, US National Security Assistant to the President, Mr. Jake Sullivan, said that the US administration saw no evidence that China was directly providing military support to Russia with a large amount of weapons in the special military operation area in Ukraine.
