In China, talk of 'super bomb' posing a serious threat to the Ukrainian army
Russia has begun mass production of a "super bomb" that poses a serious threat to the Ukrainian military, China National Radio said.
"After Russia equipped the FAB-3000 aerial bomb with guidance equipment, its destructive power became even more astonishing. This type of ammunition is completely worthy of the nickname 'super bomb'," said military observer Shao Yongling.
The article notes that its power and strike capabilities could spell “doomsday” for the Ukrainian military.
"Among Ukraine's existing air defense systems, there is currently no means capable of effectively intercepting 'super bombs'. This means that the ground units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are completely exposed to attacks from these projectiles," Shao Yongling added.
According to him, the use of FAB will really have a huge impact on the Ukrainian front and will become a mortal threat to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that its head, Sergei Shoigu, inspected the implementation of defense orders at enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the Nizhny Novgorod region. There he was informed that the serial production of FAB-3000 bombs has been arranged from February 2024.
