(Baonghean.vn)- Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau, Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, is present at Phong village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district, directly investigating a serious crime that left 4 people dead.

After grasping the situation in Phong village, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau and police officers and border guards waded through the forest and went directly to the crime scene.

Currently, forces including Department C45 - Ministry of Public Security, PC45 Department of Nghe An Police, Tuong Duong District Police are staying at Phong village, making every effort to investigate and track down the perpetrator of the massacre. Due to the nature of the case taking place in the border area, far from residential areas, and difficult traffic conditions, it has caused many difficulties in the investigation and zoning of the subject.

The local government of Tuong Duong district and Tam Hop border post have also continuously visited and encouraged the victim's family and worked to stabilize the people's psychology.

Mr. Trinh Minh Chau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, said that as soon as the case occurred, the district's functional forces were present in Tam Hop commune to visit the victims' families. In particular, the working group of the district People's Committee, the Ethnic Affairs Department of Tuong Duong district, and the district Fatherland Front donated money to help the families of the victims in the murder case.

Police, border guards and other authorities are present in Ban Phong to coordinate the investigation of the murder case and stabilize the people's psychology.

Soldiers of Tam Hop Border Guard Station also contributed money to visit, encourage and help the victims' families in the case.

Previously, at 8:00 p.m. on July 2, 2015, Nghe An Provincial Police received a report from Tuong Duong District Police stating that at around 3:00 p.m. on July 2, 2015, Vi Van Hoai (born in 1969) and his son Vi Van Tuyen (born in 1991), residing in Phong village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district, were working in the field in area C5 of Ken Ta stream (belonging to Phong village) and went from their shack to area C5 of Canh Ta stream to fish. While walking along Canh Ta stream, they discovered Vieng Thi Duong Sinh (born in 1952, Tho's mother), Le Thi Yen (born in 1989, Tho's wife), and Lo Viet Chung, born in August 2014 (Tho's son) all lying dead on the bank of Canh Ta stream. After that, Mr. Vi Van Tuyen went to Mr. Tho's shack and saw Mr. Tho lying dead in front of the shack, so he reported it to the authorities. After receiving the report, Tuong Duong District Police promptly coordinated with Tam Hop Commune Police to be present at the scene to organize initial investigation activities.

Identifying this as a particularly serious case, the Provincial Police reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the professional departments to ask for direction and coordination in investigating and clarifying the case. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the Provincial Police and related agencies to concentrate their forces and at the same time ask for direction from the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate and clarify the case.
