General Phung Quang Thanh passed away

According to the Central Committee for the Protection and Care of Cadres' Health, General Phung Quang Thanh, born in 1949, former Politburo member, former Minister of National Defense, after a period of illness, despite the Party, State, professors and doctors' devoted treatment, and the wholehearted care of his family, due to serious illness and weakness, he passed away at 3:45 a.m. on September 11, 2021 at his private home at No. 10, Lane 9, Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi City.
