On the afternoon of September 27, Hien Luong Social Protection Facility (Tho Thanh Commune) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate a house for disabled and orphaned children and organized a "Full Moon Festival" for the children.

Hien Luong Social Protection Center was established in 2006. Currently, the center is taking care of and educating 51 people with especially difficult circumstances, disabilities, and misfortunes. Among them, there are 31 abandoned children, children with cerebral palsy, and congenital disabilities.

The housing project for orphans and disabled children at Hien Luong Social Protection Facility started on February 1, 2015 with a total cost of over 400 million VND. After 8 months of construction, on September 27, the project was officially completed and put into use. The scale of the project includes 2 rooms for orphans and disabled children and other ancillary items on a total area of ​​150m2.

On this occasion, the center also organized the program “Full Moon Festival” for the children. With the art program of the Thien Nguyen Club, which was elaborately staged, it created a joyful, exciting, and warm atmosphere. The children were very excited to receive many gifts from charity groups on the occasion of the inauguration of the house and the Mid-Autumn Festival 2015.

On the evening of September 27 (ie the evening of August 15 of the lunar calendar), Lam Son Pagoda in Quynh Yen Commune (Quynh Luu) organized a "Full Moon Festival" for teenagers and children in the commune.
