(Baonghean.vn) - To ensure the power grid operates safely and smoothly, especially during the rainy and stormy season, Nghi Loc Power Company has many solutions to proactively respond to all possible situations.

In Hamlet 13, Nghi Van Commune (Nghi Loc), after receiving the seriously degraded power grid, patched wires of all kinds, crooked power poles, weak power source cannot ensure to serve the electricity needs of more than 300 households. Therefore, the District Electricity mobilized maximum manpower to replace wires to prevent overloading of the power line passing through the hamlet, both to ensure electricity for daily life of the people and to ensure the safety of the power grid before the rainy season.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Vinh, a technician at Nghi Loc Electricity, said: "To ensure the safety of the power grid before the storm season, the electricity industry continuously replaces new wires. Despite the hot weather, with the spirit of serving the people, we strive to restore power to the people as quickly and stably as possible."

Currently, Nghi Loc Power Company has completed the reception of rural low-voltage power grids in 30/30 communes and towns with over 1,000 km of low-voltage power lines to sell electricity to 66,700 electricity customers. Most of the rural low-voltage power grids after being received are in a patchwork state, the pole and power line systems are old and dilapidated, not meeting safety standards.

Therefore, the plan to repair power lines and replace key pole positions is being focused on by the unit. To avoid power leakage incidents, causing damage to people and property, the District Electricity has assigned specific tasks to each production team, inspected the entire power grid, locations, and equipment that do not meet operating standards, and then developed a plan and handled replacements. Prepare enough spare materials and equipment to be ready to replace and repair when incidents occur with the goal of ensuring to meet the people's electricity needs.

Since the beginning of 2017, the District Power Company has repaired about 5km of low-voltage grid, upgraded the medium-voltage grid from 10KV to 22KV with a length of more than 4km through Nghi Quang and Nghi Thiet communes; added 7 transformer stations with a capacity of 250-300KVA; replaced more than 15,000m of power lines and 43 low-voltage capacitors of poor quality with a total cost of more than 17 billion VND. Thereby contributing to preventing overload, reducing the power supply radius and improving the quality of electricity for people's daily life.
