Dan Truong: I try to live well but disasters keep coming!

Singer Dan Truong just held a press conference to announce a live show celebrating 30 years of singing that will take place on November 1 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

The singer said he just wanted to sing and live a quiet life, working quietly. Time and health did not allow him to be comfortable enough to organize a big live show.

"There are many things that make me falter. Anyone who follows Dan Truong will know that even though I try to live a good life, disasters keep coming. One thing after another makes me discouraged and depressed," he said.

Dan Truong feels lucky because he always has the support of his team and fans. It is their support and encouragement that helps him overcome difficulties and stand firm until today.

Therefore, he considers the live show as a thank you, a tribute to everyone who has been with him during his youth and through 3 decades.

Dan Truong considers this his last grand live show because he feels he doesn't have enough health to do more.

Initially, the crew planned to work in Ho Chi Minh City, but because this was an important project, they decided to organize it in Hanoi.

For many years, the singer suffered from postural vestibular disorder. When he sat up, lay down, or turned to the right or left, he felt dizzy.

"The disease cannot be cured. I was advised to sleep and rest a lot. When dancing, I try to avoid spinning because it is easy to fall backwards.

I always stay in good health, in the most stressful state to fulfill my role of singing and dancing well in the live show," he expressed.

Cam Ly - Dan Truong's musical soulmate will join the live show. The two will reunite with their one-time hits, with completely new arrangements.

They also had arguments during the working process. While Dan Truong wanted to sing new songs, Cam Ly preferred to perform old hits to create nostalgia for the audience.

A year ago, Cam Ly held a live show to celebrate her 30th anniversary. According to her, for a singer, the audience's affection is the most important thing to be able to prolong her career.

"I hope Truong will flourish in the art world and live in the loving arms of the audience," she said.

Besides Cam Ly, many singers will participate in the live show such as: Quoc Thien, Hoa Minzy, Den Vau, Rhyder... Besides the singers who have been associated with his career like Cam Ly, the combination with Quoc Thien or Hoa Minzy will bring many new things, showing Dan Truong's efforts to renew himself.

Baby Thien Tu - Dan Truong's son also participated in his father's live show in a special performance.

Producer Hoang Tuan said the current investment cost for this show is more than 11 billion VND. Of which, the majority of the cost is invested in the stage. The cost for new compositions and music arrangements is about 1 billion VND.

The most spectacular performance was the appearance of a team of horses brought from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. The crew had to rent a car, build a separate tent for the horses and ensure good food, care... until the live show day.

Within the framework of the live show, the organizers also opened an exhibition.Dan Truong - 30 years of achievementsto display the milestones in the singer's career.
