Initial information, at around 4:30 p.m. on December 7, Mr. Tran Van Vuong (born in 1994), residing in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, along with his mother and brother, were selling sugarcane in Nam Giang commune, when suddenly a group of young men on motorbikes attacked Mr. Vuong.

Mr. Vuong is being treated in the hospital after being slashed by a group of young men on the afternoon of December 7.

Seeing his younger brother being beaten, Mr. Tran Van Vy (Mr. Vuong's older brother) was cutting sugarcane nearby, holding a knife, ran over to stop them. Seeing that, the group of young men got on their motorbike and ran away.

At around 5:00 p.m. the same day, the group of young men returned, carrying swords longer than 1 meter, rushed in and beat and slashed Mr. Vuong to death on the spot, then left the scene.

Mr. Vuong was taken by his family to Nam Dan District General Hospital for emergency treatment and then transferred to a higher-level hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

According to the doctors treating him, Mr. Vuong suffered three injuries, including a nearly severed left arm, a deep slash that severed the intercostal nerve, and a deep wound in his back. After the surgery, Mr. Vuong remained in a deep coma.

Upon receiving the information, Nam Giang commune police and Nam Dan district police urgently took statements from witnesses to investigate the incident./.
