Party Committee of Nghia Dan District People's Committee, 17th Congress of Delegates

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 23, the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district held its 17th Congress (term 2015 - 2020). This is the unit chosen by the District Party Committee to be the model congress.

Comrade Vi Van Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council attended and directed the congress. Attending the congress were comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Secretaries of Party Committees of agencies in the district and 99 party members from 11 Party cells.

Overview of the congress

During the past term, the Party Committee has achieved encouraging results with 100% of Party cells classified as having fulfilled their tasks well or better, of which 50% of Party cells were classified as clean and strong, 15% of Party cells were classified as exemplary clean and strong. In particular, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 Party cells that met the standard of "exemplary clean and strong" for 5 consecutive years.

The reports presented at the congress and the discussion opinions seriously assessed the advantages, disadvantages, causes, and lessons learned in all aspects of work during the past term, and proposed directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for implementation in the coming term.

Delegates attending the Congress

The Congress determined the goals for the 2015-2020 term as follows: The Party Committee maintains the title of exemplary Communist Party member every year, 50% of Party cells achieve the title of exemplary Communist Party member every year, no weak Party cells; strives to admit 15 new Party members. By 2020, 95% of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and Party members in the Party Committee will have a university degree or higher (of which 20% will have a post-graduate degree). 100% of comrades in the Party Committee and 30% of Party members in the Party Committee will have an intermediate level of political theory or higher.

The Congress set out four tasks, namely, strengthening leadership, direction, and innovation in political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education, and improving the quality of Party cell activities. Focusing on leadership and direction to promote proactiveness and creativity, improving the quality of advice from departments and offices, regularly following the grassroots, promptly grasping the situation, proposing solutions to effectively organize and implement tasks in fields and sectors to achieve the targets, plans and resolutions set by the district. Continuing to well implement working regulations, administrative reforms, innovating working style and manners, sense of discipline, implementing the criteria of "3 no's: 3 right, 3 need, 3 against"... in work and office culture following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh associated with practicing thrift, building solidarity in the agency. Leading strong mass organizations... contributing to building Nghia Dan district rich, beautiful and civilized.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of the District People's Committee for the 2015-2020 term, consisting of 11 comrades, and elected a delegation of 15 comrades to attend the 28th Nghia Dan District Party Congress.
