Vinh University Party Committee: Evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels in the mid-term

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 13, the Vinh University Party Committee held a conference to review and evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the mid-term Congress at all levels. Attending the meeting were comrade To Hong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

During the 2010-2015 term, the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 30th Congress of the University Party Committee was seriously led and directed by the Standing Committee of the Vinh University Party Committee with many synchronous and effective solutions. Many targets were achieved and exceeded, creating an important premise for completing the goals, targets, tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution, contributing to comprehensively improving the quality of human resource training to meet social needs in the new period.

Notably, the school has opened 7 undergraduate training majors; 2 master training majors, 4 doctoral training majors. Training work according to the credit system has stabilized. Scientific and technological activities have been promoted in the direction of linking scientific research with social needs through comprehensive linkages with businesses, units, and localities. Typically, in 2011, the school implemented 4 scientific topics to serve the socio-economic development of the western districts of Nghe An, focusing on human resource training, transferring science and technology to develop agriculture and forestry, and protecting the environment...

During the past half term, the school's Party Committee continued to lead the strengthening of international cooperation, signing bilateral cooperation programs with major universities in Asia, Europe, and America. The management and operation of the school was carried out openly, democratically, and transparently, especially in the work of party building, planning-finance, and organization-staff. The work of evaluating staff and recruiting new party members was focused on. From 2010 to now, the entire Party Committee has recruited 1,160 party members, officially transferring 300 to probationary party members.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying existing shortcomings, from which they discussed solutions to overcome them, especially for difficult-to-achieve targets, in order to mobilize all resources, with the high determination of the entire Party Committee to strive to complete and exceed the goals and targets set by the Party Congress Resolution.

Speaking at the conference, comrade To Hong Hai acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Vinh University Party Committee has achieved in the process of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels on the basis of closely following the 5 contents on the role, position, function and tasks of grassroots party organizations in schools. He suggested that the school Party Committee continue to unite and innovate in leadership and direction to promote the effective implementation of the targets and objectives of the Party Congress Resolution in conjunction with Directive 03 of the Politburo on studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh and Resolution of the Central Committee 4 "Some urgent issues on Party building at present", in which special attention is paid to ideological work and party building work in schools.
