Nghe An Provincial Party Committee deploys tasks for 2012

(Baonghean.vn) –This morning, February 9, the Party Committee of the Provincial Government Offices Bloc of Nghe An province held a conference to review Party building work and deploy tasks for 2012. Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended and directed the conference.

In 2011, the Party Committee of the Bloc focused on leading grassroots party organizations to do well in political and ideological education, building and consolidating grassroots party organizations and party members, and inspecting and supervising; promoting the movement to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example, constantly building a contingent of cadres, party members, and civil servants with good moral qualities and the capacity to fulfill assigned tasks. The Party Committee's activities have contributed to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the area, effectively implementing Resolution 11/CP of the Government on solutions to curb inflation, stabilize the macro-economy, ensure social security, remove difficulties for businesses and farmers, promote administrative reform & attract investment, basically achieve and exceed the set plan for socio-economic targets in the province; direct the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels to be successful...

The conference also pointed out some limitations in performing political tasks, in political and ideological education, in inspecting, supervising and managing party members and some other aspects of activities.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council acknowledged the important contributions of the Party Committee of the Bloc to the socio-economic development of the province. At the same time, he noted that in 2012, the Party Committee focused on continuously improving the leadership and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and party members in all three aspects: politics, ideology and organization, ensuring that they are the political core in agencies and units. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the risk of political and ideological degradation; strengthen solidarity within the Party, within agencies and units; promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; improve the quality of party member development... On the basis of implementing well the coordination, inspection and supervision work, leading the implementation of political tasks, especially the task of administrative reform associated with building the Party with strong agencies, units and sectors.

On this occasion, the Party Committee also organized the awarding of the Third Class Labor Medal, Provincial Emulation Fighter, and certificates of merit to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements.
