Party Committee of Military Region 4 with new stage mission requirements

(Baonghean) - The armed forces of Military Region 4, right from its inception and throughout the resistance war against the French colonialists, were under the direct leadership of the Central Region Party Committee - Zone 4 Party Committee - Inter-zone 4 Party Committee - Military Region 4 Party Committee, Tri Thien Military Region Party Committee, Road Nine Front Party Committee... That leadership was closely linked to the entire resistance line and military tasks of the Party.

The armed forces of Military Region 4 always thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines, viewpoints and military tasks in the local reality, focusing on building and developing the armed forces. At the same time, they fulfill their tasks at the front line and build and protect the rear, acting as the core for the local people in the victorious, comprehensive, long-term resistance war.

Carrying out the task of building and defending the Fatherland, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 always thoroughly grasps, firmly grasps, and creatively implements the Party's innovation policy, prevents and fights to defeat the "Peaceful Evolution" strategy; builds a national defense foundation associated with the people's security posture and defense diplomacy tasks, contributing to enhancing the Vietnam-Laos solidarity.

Currently, hostile and reactionary forces are promoting the strategy of "Peaceful Evolution". They are vigorously implementing the plot of "Depoliticizing the army", so building a strong Party Committee of Military Region 4, ensuring the absolute, direct and comprehensive leadership of the Party is a matter of decisive and vital significance. Thoroughly implementing Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee (11th tenure) on "Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation", the Resolution of the 10th Military Region Party Congress (term 2015 - 2020) determined: Focus on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Military Region Party Committee. This is the basic and leading factor to improve the overall quality and fighting strength of the Military Region's armed forces, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new period.

To implement the above policy, the Party Committee of the Military Region and Party Committees at all levels have focused on building an Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 10th Military Region Party Congress, focusing on concretizing tasks, goals, targets and breakthroughs. Leading to improve the quality and effectiveness of political theory education, information, and ideological orientation; proactively fighting on the political and ideological front, preventing "Peaceful evolution". Continuing to effectively implement the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (11th tenure) in conjunction with promoting "studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". Regularly grasp and seriously implement Resolution 51-NQ/TW of the Politburo (9th tenure).

Focus on leading and directing the implementation of breakthroughs in improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party committees. Promote the role of functional agencies in Party building work. Develop criteria for Party members to strive for in accordance with each type of Party organization, promote the exemplary role of Party committee members in conjunction with improving the quality of cadres at all levels. Thoroughly implement the principles of democratic centralism, collective leadership, and assigning individuals to take charge; synchronously implement inspection and supervision work. Continue to innovate leadership methods and styles in the direction of democracy, discipline, specificity, efficiency, and practicality.

Following in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, today's generation of cadres and soldiers unite, promote their intelligence, build a strong Party organization; and excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party and people in the new period.
