On May 7, Quynh Luu District Police caught Vi Thi Nhung (born in 1982, residing in Chau Kim Commune, Que Phong District) red-handed for illegally buying and selling drugs.

At 9:30 a.m. the same day, Quynh Luu District Police received a report that at Cay Xoai Coffee Shop in Hamlet 5, Quynh Giang Commune (Quynh Luu), a woman was preparing to illegally trade drugs.

The task force quickly verified, approached and arrested Vi Thi Nhung. Evidence seized from Nhung was 1 heroin cake weighing 350.31 grams; 1 mobile phone and 4,675 million VND.

At the police station, Nhung confessed that on May 5, she went to the village to buy a heroin cake for 50 million VND. When a customer asked to buy it for 70 million VND, Nhung agreed to sell and deliver the goods to Quynh Luu district.

Quynh Luu District Police have handed over the subject and the evidence to the Provincial Police Department of Drugs to investigate and handle according to their authority.
