On October 16, 1948, in the Viet Bac War Zone, the Party Central Committee Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 29-QN/TW on the establishment of the Central Inspection Committee. This was the basis for the Politburo Standing Committee (VIII tenure) to agree to take October 16, 1948 as the traditional day of the Party's Inspection sector.
