(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 13, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union and the Department of Foreign Affairs, organized for the delegation to attend the Vietnam Summer Camp 2014, offer incense and flowers at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Uncle Ho's mother and offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Relic Site - Nam Dan District.

The delegation respectfully bowed to express their sincere respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the genius leader of our Party and people, the outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of Vietnam and humanity; he was honored by the world as a national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural celebrity of Vietnam.

Following Uncle Ho's teachings, in recent years, Vietnamese youth abroad have constantly strived to study and practice, making many contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, contributing to the overall development of the country, preserving and promoting the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people.

With the theme “My Homeland Sea and Islands”, nearly 170 Vietnamese youth delegates who are living, studying and working in 26 countries and territories around the world participated in the Vietnam Summer Camp 2014. The Vietnam Summer Camp 2014 is an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese youth to have the opportunity to approach and understand more deeply about the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, about the patriotic tradition, cultural roots, and solidarity of the Vietnamese people. Thereby, fostering pride, love for the homeland, sharing the difficulties and challenges of the country in the work of protecting territorial sovereignty and feeling the sacredness of national sovereignty in overseas Vietnamese youth.

The trip to Nghe An with activities to learn about historical-cultural relics and tourism will help children have practical experiences to understand more about the land and people of Nghe An, contributing to promoting the image of Nghe An to international friends.
