(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 31, the Provincial Military Recruitment Board held a conference to evaluate the results of military recruitment in 2021 and deploy military recruitment tasks in 2022.

At the conference, delegates heard a report evaluating the military recruitment work in 2021 with specific results such as: In 2021, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, military recruitment work encountered many difficulties. The provincial military recruitment board implemented it seriously, safely, in accordance with the State's regulations and the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.

The provincial military recruitment board has directed the BoardAdmissionMilitary districts, towns and cities develop plans to closely coordinate with local high schools to innovate measures and forms of admission counseling, especially propaganda, career guidance and preliminary selection for military academies and schools.

In 2021, the whole province had 1,650 applications for preliminary registration and admission to military universities and colleges (1,626 university applications, 24 college applications), with 405 candidates admitted to academies and schools. To ensure that students enroll on time, the Provincial Military Command allocated funds to organize transportation and handover to academies and schools on time, ensuring safety.

According to the plan, the preliminary registration for military schools in 2022 will start from March 15, 2022 to May 20, 2022 at the Military Commands of districts, towns and cities in the province.

The provincial military recruitment board requires the military recruitment boards of districts, towns and cities to continue to strictly implement the directives of the Ministry of National Defense on military recruitment. Military agencies at all levels actively participate in close coordination with departments, branches and organizations to propagate, advise and provide career guidance for candidates applying for admission to military schools; guide candidates to strictly follow the military recruitment process, in order to select candidates who meet the standards in terms of politics, ethics, culture and health to be trained in military schools, meeting the requirements of the task of building a regular and elite army in the new period./.
