Behind the banknotes printed with women
(Baonghean.vn) - Many countries often print pictures of their founders, presidents, statues and tourist attractions, but not many countries print women on their banknotes. Recently, the US announced that it would put a woman's image on the $20 bill, and Sputnik channel compiled banknotes with pictures of famous female leaders in the world.

Anti-slavery activist Harriet Tubman will be the first woman to appear on US paper money in more than 100 years.
In early April, the U.S. Treasury Department announced that Tubman, who was born into slavery around 1820 and later helped hundreds of others escape poverty, would replace the late President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.
