Indonesian football team, Sriwijaya FC, has expressed interest in Le Cong Vinh after the player did not have a new club because BĐHN FC did not register to participate in V-League 2013.

According to information fromTribunnewsSriwijaya FC, a team playing in Liga Indonesia, is interested in Cong Vinh and in the near future, after settling his personal affairs, this striker will go to the archipelago for a trial.

Sriwijaya FC's finance director Augie Bunyamin said yesterday: "We have received an interesting offer from Cong Vinh's agent. The Vietnamese striker will come to Sriwijaya FC for a trial. According to the information we have, Cong Vinh is a top striker, we hope he will show himself and become a part of the team."

The reason Cong Vinh has the opportunity to seek a contract with the Indonesian team is because Sriwijaya has just parted ways with Korean striker Han Sang Min, so there is still a vacant spot for a foreign player from Asia.

However, to get a contract with Sriwijaya, Cong Vinh still has to go through a trial period like any other foreign player.
