Nghe An Military Party Committee implements Resolution 8 of the Central Committee (term XI)

(Baonghean) -On the morning of March 13, in Vinh city, the Party Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command organized a meeting to disseminate and implement Resolution 8 of the Central Committee (11th tenure). Attending and directly reporting on the contents of the Resolution were Colonel Nguyen Si Hoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command and comrades in the Party Committee and Command. Attending were representatives of Military Region 4 and 304 students from agencies and units in the province.

Resolution 8 of the Central Committee (11th tenure) includes many topics, of which the important topic closely related to the implementation of the tasks of the armed forces is the Resolution on "Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation", so it is very necessary to thoroughly grasp and deploy it to the core team of commanders and political commissars. Through information on the situation of international relations as well as investment, strengthening of equipment and defense capabilities of major countries and in the region, the reporters of the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command highlighted the significance and necessity of this Resolution study session. Representatives of Military Region 4 and commanders of agencies and units under the Command attended the training.

During the 2 days (March 13 and 14), in addition to the Resolution on “Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation”, the trainees also studied the thematic Resolutions on “International integration and foreign affairs in national defense until 2020 and the following years”; Resolution on “Fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration”; Conclusion on “Socio-economic situation in 2013 and tasks in 2014”, assessing the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th National Congress on socio-economics, focusing on 3 strategic breakthroughs associated with economic restructuring and growth model innovation; Conclusion on the completion of the draft amendment to the 1992 Constitution to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval; Conclusion No. 79 of the Politburo on promoting the implementation of Resolution No. 20 of the 6th Central Conference (10th tenure) on "Continuing to build the Vietnamese working class in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country"./.
