Terrorist bombing in Cairo: 4 people killed
On Sunday, September 21, a bomb exploded in the center of Cairo, Egypt, killing four people. Police said that among them were two civilians and two police officers.

Since the military overthrew Islamist President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013, jihadist groups have carried out frequent attacks that the Egyptian government says have killed 500 police and military personnel. The perpetrators of the attacks have said they were revenge for the bloody crackdown on supporters of Morsi, Egypt’s first democratically elected president.
