List of 30 people voted for by Nghe An Provincial People's Council
(Baonghean.vn) - The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council will submit to the Provincial People's Council for decision a list of 30 people to be voted on at the 16th Session of the 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, held on the afternoon of October 27.
According to regulations, the subjects of the vote of confidence are the Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairmen of the People's Council, Heads of the Provincial People's Council's Committees, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, and members of the Provincial People's Committee elected by the Provincial People's Council before January 1, 2023.
Currently, there are 34 members of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee holding positions elected by the 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council from the beginning of the 2021-2026 term to present. However, based on regulations, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council proposed that the Provincial People's Council not organize a vote of confidence for 4 members of the Provincial People's Committee elected in 2023.
Including Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Pham Hong Quang - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Mr. Nguyen Quy Linh - Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
As for Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang - former Director of the Department of Construction, according to Decision No. 2197-QD/TU dated October 17, 2023, he was mobilized, assigned, and appointed by the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Hung Nguyen District Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term from October 25, 2023. However, the Provincial People's Council has not yet dismissed the member of the Provincial People's Committee, so a vote of confidence was still held.
