The list of poor districts for the period 2018 - 2020 has just been approved by the Government.
The Prime Minister has just approved the List of poor districts and districts escaping poverty for the period 2018 - 2020.
According toList,Group 1 includes 56 poor districts in 19 provinces that are being supported to apply mechanisms and policies according to the provisions of Resolution No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP dated December 27, 2008 of the Government.

The above 56 districts implement specific mechanisms and policies stipulated in Resolution No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP and specific policies stipulated in Sub-project 1, Sub-project 3, Sub-project 4 under Project 1 of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2016 - 2020 according to Decision No. 1722/QD-TTg dated September 2, 2016.

Group 2 includes 29 districts in 18 provinces considered for addition to the list of poor districts for the period 2018 - 2020. From 2018 to the end of 2020, these 29 districts will implement specific policies specified in Sub-project 1, Sub-project 3, Sub-project 4 under Project 1 of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2016 - 2020 according to Decision No.1722/QD-TTgwith a support level of 70% compared to poor districts in Group 1 (according to regulations in Decision No. 48/2016/QD-TTg dated October 31, 2016). In 2018, only capital will be allocated to support implementation for additional poor districts in addition to districts according to Decision No.293/QD-TTgFebruary 5, 2013.
Group 3 includes 8 districts in 6 provinces recognized as escaping poverty in the period 2018 - 2020. This group implements specific mechanisms and policies stipulated in Resolution No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP (except for investment and maintenance policies for infrastructure works) and policies stipulated in Sub-project 3, Sub-project 4 under Project 1 of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the period 2016 - 2020 according to Decision No. 1722/QD-TTg until the end of 2020 with a support level equal to 100% compared to poor districts in Group 1.
In case 2019 is compensated for the capital of 2018, the policy of investment and maintenance of infrastructure works will continue until the end of 2019.
