In recent years, the army and people on the island have focused on building Nam Yet strong in defense and beautiful in environmental landscape. Today, Nam Yet is full of life, caressing the green color of trees and fruits.

Because the soil on the island is mainly gravel, pebbles and coarse sand from coral, Nam Yet did not have this type of tree before. Coconut seedlings were brought from the mainland by our soldiers. |
