Winning 23 First Prizes, Dien Chau delegation leads the Phu Dong Provincial Sports Festival

This year's Phu Dong Sports Festival in Nghe An province took place from March 17 to 24 with 9 competitions, including: athletics, table tennis, badminton, shuttlecock kicking, chess, volleyball, soccer, stick pushing, and Vovinam. The festival attracted 1,326 athletes from 21 districts, cities, and towns in the province.

After more than 4 days of exciting competition, the 18th Nghe An Province Phu Dong Sports Festival truly became a sports festival for young people, contributing to promoting the physical training movement, developing sports talents in students, and improving the quality of comprehensive education in schools.

At the end of the Phu Dong Sports Festival, the Dien Chau district athlete delegation ranked first overall with 23 first prizes, 19 second prizes, and 25 third prizes. The second and third places were respectively given to the Tuong Duong and Thanh Chuong delegations.

With the spirit of faster, higher, for a pure, objective, united and learning school sports, the 18th Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival took place successfully.

Hereby, the Organizing Committee requests that the Departments of Education and Training and High Schools continue to have a training plan for students who achieved high results at the 18th Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival to participate in the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2020.
