Order fake 'red book' and then sell land
To have money to spend, a subject went online to search and order fake "red books" to sell land to others, but was exposed while completing the "virtual" land transfer procedures at a notary organization.
On March 6, the Investigation Police Agency of Cam Lam District Police (Khanh Hoa) announced that it had just issued a decision to prosecute and execute an arrest warrant for two crimes of "Using fake documents of agencies and organizations" and "Fraudulent appropriation of property" against Le Dang Ba Linh (born in 1983, residing in Cam An Nam commune, Cam Lam district).
Previously, at the end of January 2024, among those who came to Thuan An Notary Office in Bai Gieng 3 residential group, Cam Duc town, Cam Lam district to certify real estate transaction contracts, there was Le Dang Ba Linh. This man came to make a contract to transfer a plot of land for perennial crops in Vinh Trung village, Cam An Nam commune to Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan P (born in 1978, residing in Cam Lam district) for 125 million VND.

After the staff of Thuan An Notary Office drafted the land transfer contract in accordance with the law and photocopied the citizen identification cards of both parties and the land use right certificate (red book) of the seller, the entire file was submitted to the notary for inspection before authentication. During the inspection, the notary discovered that the "red book" presented by Le Dang Ba Linh showed signs of forgery, so he contacted the authorities to coordinate a re-inspection and urgently reported to Cam Lam District Police.
Immediately after receiving the information, a working group of the General Investigation Team of Cam Lam District Police went to Thuan An Notary Office to verify and investigate the origin of the above "red book". Knowing that it was impossible to avoid it, Linh confessed that it was a fake document. Checking the inside of the motorbike trunk used by Linh and urgently searching Linh's residence, the Investigation Police Agency of Cam Lam District Police seized 5 more fake "red books" and some other related documents.
Initially, Linh confessed that she used to be a real estate broker, so she knew about many plots of land and the land fever in Cam Lam. To have money to spend, Linh went online to search for and contact people who forged documents to order fake "red books" and then sell the land to others.
