Childhood cancers are characterized by very strong proliferation and rapid progression due to their origin from immature cells. Hematopoietic cancers account for 50% of cancer cases. Common solid tumors in children are: brain tumors, retinoblastomas, neuroblastomas, germ cell tumors, soft tissue sarcomas... Very rare in children are cancers of the cervix, embryo, and skin. Some types of cancer in children have genetic factors, linked to gene mutations such as retinoblastoma.

Doctors have given 7 signs of early cancer detection in children, which are unusual symptoms such as:

- High fever lasting about 2 weeks, with bruises, nosebleeds, and bleeding gums.

- Pale, tired for no reason

- Unusual lumps, lymph nodes, swelling.

- Prolonged pain in the bones near the joints and limping.

- Increasing headache (with nausea and vomiting in the morning).

- There is a white spot in the black of the eye.

- Abnormally large abdomen, feels lumpy when touched.

When seeing children with the above signs, families need to take the child to a specialist facility for timely diagnosis.
