What was the motive for the massacre of 19 people in China?
In recent days, China has been shaken by the horrific massacre of 19 people in a remote village in Yunnan province.

Thirty-three hours after the massacre, local police arrested suspect Yang Qingpei, born in 1989, from the same village as the victims, in the capital city of Kunming in Yunnan province.
Xinhua news agency quoted police sources as saying that the case stemmed from a family dispute and had no connection to terrorism.
At the investigation agency, Duong Thanh Boi said that he was working in Kunming and returned to his village at noon on September 28. In the evening, an argument broke out after he asked his parents for money.
Duong then killed his parents and, fearing that his actions would be exposed, he also killed 17 of his neighbors.
The 19 victims in Da Ma village were murdered, including 11 men and 8 women, of which the youngest victim was a 3-year-old girl, the oldest victim was 72 years old, and 4 victims were under 18 years old.
Local police are continuing to investigate the incident.
