Fight against illegal trade of fireworks

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 8, the Nghe An Border Guard Command issued plan No. 743/KH-BCH on launching a peak period to prevent and combat acts of smuggling, manufacturing, trading, storing, and illegally using fireworks before, during, and after the Lunar New Year 2015.

According to the plan, from September 15, 2014 to March 15, 2015, units from the province to border posts will strengthen the fight against smuggling, counterfeit goods, and trade fraud; Do a good job of grasping the situation, promptly detecting, fighting, preventing, and destroying organizations, lines, and subjects that smuggle, produce, trade, store, and illegally use fireworks at border gates, seaports, and border areas and sea areas of Nghe An province. Especially before, during, and after the traditional Tet holiday, contributing to ensuring that people can enjoy Tet and welcome the Year of the Goat 2015 safely and healthily.

Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinates with Border Gate Customs to strengthen inspection and control of people, vehicles and goods crossing the border.

In addition, the force coordinates with the Police, Customs, Market Management and other relevant agencies to strengthen the fight against smuggling, counterfeit goods and trade fraud. Inspect, control and monitor subjects and vehicles regularly passing through border areas, border gates and at sea to detect, arrest and strictly handle subjects transporting and smuggling fireworks and explosives, along with continuing to launch a peak campaign to mobilize people to hand over weapons, explosives, tools and support, contributing to stabilizing security and order in the area.
