Investing in training equipment for coaches and high-performance athletes

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 25, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee continued its regular October meeting.

The first content of the working session of the Provincial People's Committee this morning is to listen to and give opinions on the draft Resolution approving the level of regular training equipment for coaches and high-performance athletes of Nghe An province.

In recent years, in order to create conditions for athletes and coaches to practice, compete and achieve high results, gradually affirming the position of the province's sports, the Provincial People's Committee has paid attention and repeatedly adjusted the regime and equipment for athletes and coaches. However, up to now, the actual regular training equipment for coaches and athletes of Nghe An province has not met the training and coaching requirements of sports that increasingly require high intensity, volume of movement, aesthetics, modernization and professionalism. Equipment issued to teams must ensure training standards according to the regulations of the National Sports Federation, International Sports Federation or according to the standards of the sports competition rules.

Regarding this content, the Provincial People's Committee unanimously approved the draft on the allocation of regular training equipment for coaches and high-performance athletes of Nghe An province that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had developed. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted: Team 1 of SLNA Football Club has been transferred to the enterprise, not included in the list of high-performance sports with adjusted funding for regular training equipment.

Regarding the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council approving the principles of pricing and approving the land price framework of Nghe An province in 2014, reported by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment at the meeting this morning, the Provincial People's Committee also highly agreed. Basically, the land price framework is kept the same as in 2013. However, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review it again. If any unreasonable or inappropriate points are discovered, timely adjustments should be made to suit the actual conditions.

Also in this morning's meeting, the Provincial People's Committee unanimously approved the decision to replace Decision No. 88/2005/QD.UBND dated October 6, 2005 of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating "Regulations on awarding scientific and technological innovations in Nghe An province".
