(Baonghean.vn) – Implementing Plan 204/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on inspecting administrative procedure control work in the province in 2016, on November 15, the Provincial Interdisciplinary Inspection Team worked at the Provincial Tax Department.

Through inspection, the Interdisciplinary Team assessed that the public posting of administrative procedures under the authority to resolve and the content of the address for receiving feedback and recommendations at the reception and result delivery department and the Tax Department's electronic information portal were implemented in accordance with regulations.

Since the beginning of the year, the Tax Department has reviewed 165 administrative procedures at the Tax Department level and 100% of administrative procedures in accordance with legal regulations, proposing to shorten the time and shorten the settlement process.

The unit has also publicized a hotline and email to receive and handle negative attitudes and responsibilities of tax officials and civil servants, causing trouble and harassment. In addition, it has deployed and guided businesses to submit tax declarations online and pay taxes electronically, thereby reducing implementation time, saving costs and ensuring data security during transactions.

The interdisciplinary inspection team requested the Tax Department to strengthen administrative reform, contributing to improving the province's business environment.

In 2016, the Tax Department recognized 67 initiatives at the Department level, submitted 5 initiatives at the General Department of Taxation for consideration; conducted inspections of the work of publicizing the tax code, publicly posting administrative procedures at 11 tax branches; the work of receiving and handling administrative procedures at 1 tax branch and 7 specialized departments.

In addition to the advantages, the delegation also pointed out a number of contents and proposed that the Tax Department take measures to overcome the processing time and dossier components; the arrangement of funding to support focal officers in controlling administrative procedures according to regulations is not timely.

The delegation proposed that the Tax Department continue to pay attention to the work of controlling administrative procedures, strictly implementing solutions and building initiatives to reform tax administrative procedures to meet the goals and targets of improving the business environment and enhancing the province's competitiveness.
