Promoting cooperation in the field of propaganda between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces

Speaking at the seminar, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong highlighted the special relationship between the leaders of Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces. In parallel, the branches and Party building committees have also regularly met to exchange and learn from each other's experiences.

Besides economic development cooperation, Nghe An highly appreciates and recognizes the success of the village-to-village twinning program and border posts, which have contributed to maintaining border markers and security in the border area between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces.

The Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee affirmed that this seminar marked a milestone in the cooperation in the field of propaganda between the two provinces; at the same time, he expressed his hope that through the activities of exchange, learning and sharing of experiences, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Province and the Propaganda Department of Xieng Khouang Province, and the Propaganda Department officers will promote propaganda work on the results of cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general and the two provinces of Nghe An and Xieng Khouang in particular, bringing the cooperative relationship between the two localities increasingly closer.

At the seminar, the two sides quickly informed about the results of propaganda work in 2018; delegates openly discussed issues of concern.

Accordingly, the Propaganda Department of Xieng Khouang province proposed to exchange experiences in propaganda activities as well as political and ideological work of the Party to the grassroots level; Party building work in remote areas; experience in organizing and implementing the Party's policies and guidelines, as well as the Congress Resolutions to receive consensus and support from cadres, party members and people; ways to collect information on public opinion; experience in managing and handling online news...

The above issues were shared by the officials and experts of the departments and offices of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. At the same time, the two departments also agreed to deepen and sustain cooperation, maintain regular visits to learn and exchange experiences.

The Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also promised to help the Xieng Khouang Provincial Propaganda Department train cadres to improve the quality of professional work of the two departments.
