Promoting the movement 'Agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards'
On the morning of February 26, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a Conference to review 2 years of implementing the Movement to build "Cultural standard agencies, units and enterprises" (2023-2024).
Attending the conference were comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, representatives of leaders, specialists in charge of advising and monitoring the movement to build "Cultural standard agencies, units and enterprises" of the Labor Federations of districts, cities, towns, industry unions, and affiliated grassroots unions.
From the thorough implementation of the unified movement in all levels of trade unions, the movement to build "Cultural standard agencies, units and enterprises" has been implemented by all levels of trade unions, agencies, units and enterprises and achieved many positive results.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has focused on directing trade unions at all levels to implement activities contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, notably the emulation movement "Each grassroots trade union has a cultural and sports activity to welcome trade union congresses at all levels". At units, the movement is associated with the implementation of a number of movements such as "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Building new rural areas", "Civilized urban areas", "Good workers - Creative workers", "Civilized offices", "Building corporate culture"; "Green - clean - beautiful agencies"...
In 2 years, trade unions at all levels in the province have organized nearly 1,100 sports competitions, nearly 600 grassroots-level art performances, 50 sports competitions, 24 upper-level art performances, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate. The Provincial Labor Federation organized the "Sports Competition for Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers" in 2023 with the participation of more than 500 athletes who are union members and workers; Organized the "Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers Singing Festival in 2024" with the participation of more than 1,000 actors who are union members and workers from 29 district, city, town, and industry union units; The program "Workers' Festival - Welcome to the Year of the Cat" 2023, the program "Happy Tet – Spring Sharing” 2024 for more than 1,500 workers, laborers...
The cultural, artistic and sports movements at the grassroots level have developed strongly, attracting a large number of civil servants, public employees and workers to participate; clubs have been organized in a variety of ways. Trade unions at all levels have promoted the strengths of the media in conveying legal policies, culture, and spreading the example of "good people, good deeds" in many forms...
Up to now, the province has had 748 units registered as cultural agencies, units and enterprises for the 5-year period. The Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation decided to recognize 152 agencies, units and enterprises as meeting cultural standards for the 2-year period and 6 units as meeting cultural standards for the 5-year period.
Attending the conference, delegates shared their experiences in implementation and made recommendations, clarifying some contents related to criteria for considering units meeting cultural standards, policy mechanisms, emulation and rewards, and some solutions.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation affirmed the importance of the movement, acknowledged the initial results that the movement has achieved and frankly acknowledged the limitations in the implementation process.
In the coming time, he suggested that trade unions at all levels need to raise awareness of the importance of the movement; Develop effective implementation methods suitable for each agency and unit; Actively coordinate with relevant agencies, units, and authorities at all levels; Advise on building implementation policies and mechanisms, especially in emulation work.reward.
Concluding the conference, Comrade Thai Minh Sy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation received the comments and discussions of the delegates and gave appropriate directions. The conference also proposed 9 specific tasks and solutions in the coming time.
