(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, March 20, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for implementing Directive 18/CP chaired a meeting to summarize the government's mass mobilization work in 2011 and deploy tasks for 2012.
In 2011, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Implementation of Directive 18/CP paid attention to leading, directing the organization to thoroughly grasp and implement Directive 18/CP of the Prime Minister, Directive 42 of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening mass mobilization work seriously and effectively. The movement to build a skillful mass mobilization model has received attention from districts, cities, towns, provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Many districts have built a number of skillful mass mobilization models in the fields of production, economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, implementation of democratic regulations, administrative reform and building cultural life in residential areas. The total number of models at all levels of government in coordination with the Mass Mobilization Committee and the mass mobilization bloc built in 2011 was 104 models, including 8 models of provincial-level departments and branches. Building an open atmosphere in the relationship between the government, state officials and civil servants with the people in the management and operation of socio-economic development, security and defense tasks, creating conditions for the Fatherland Front and people's organizations to actively monitor the activities of administrative agencies and of officials and civil servants.
In 2012, the government's mass mobilization work focused on implementing well a number of key tasks such as: Promoting propaganda and studying Directive 18/CP and Uncle Ho's article "Mass Mobilization" in many forms such as organizing and implementing meetings, briefings on professional work, party work, thereby creating a change in the awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers about mass mobilization work; taking October 15 every year (the day Uncle Ho wrote the article "Mass Mobilization") to focus on peak propaganda; organizing a large-scale inspection of the implementation of Directive 18/CP in districts, cities, towns, and provincial departments, branches, and sectors associated with inspecting the development and implementation of the Mass Mobilization Work Regulations of the political system; Promote the emulation movement of "skillful mass mobilization" linking "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" and the National Target Program on new rural construction from the province to the grassroots level in provincial departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, cities to communes, wards and towns; coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to organize professional training for cadres in charge of mass mobilization work of provincial departments, branches and branches and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns.
