In 2015, the emulation movement created a breakthrough in improving the overall quality and fighting strength of the provincial armed forces. The unit focused on the goal of building and training steadfast political will for cadres and soldiers; building a clean and strong party organization, a comprehensively strong unit, and excellently strong mass organizations. Continuously improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the party organization; training exemplary pioneering spirit, linking the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example with the effective implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (11th tenure). Notably, the implementation of resolutions, educational program contents; propaganda activities, emulation, culture, arts, major holidays, important events of the country, border, sea and island situations.

The emulation movement has focused on education, thoroughly grasping the situation and tasks, raising vigilance and combat readiness; closely coordinating forces to grasp the situation, promptly handle situations, avoid being passive and surprised; contributing to maintaining political stability in the area. Strictly maintaining combat readiness, coordinating to protect the safety of holidays and Tet, focusing on traditional Tet, major national holidays, Party Congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term... The quality of regular construction and discipline training has been increasingly improved. The emulation movement in training has been vibrant, the training preparation and training organization have achieved good quality, repairing and renewing thousands of teaching aids. Leading and directing units to organize drills, command - advise and practice defending Mat island and Ngu island; firing live ammunition of all types of firepower in the establishment has achieved good results, ensuring safety. Direct districts, cities and towns to plan national defense land to build logistics bases and combat bases in defense areas.

The emulation movement motivated cadres and soldiers to be proactive in overcoming difficulties, promoting increased production, and raising livestock with high efficiency. Typical examples include the increased production model of the Military Commands of Tan Ky, Quynh Luu, Do Luong, and Que Phong districts... The work of preventing and fighting epidemics and taking care of soldiers' health achieved good results. The work of preserving, maintaining, and using weapons and technical equipment was carried out seriously and effectively; promptly overcoming and repairing damage, ensuring good synchronization of weapons and technical equipment for tasks, especially training and combat readiness tasks. The quality of the implementation of the 50 Campaign of the Provincial Military Command in the past year has developed well, ensuring safety in training, combat readiness, and traffic safety.

In 2015, the emulation movement of the provincial armed forces was linked with emulation movements and campaigns of the Party Committee, government and people in the area. Agencies and units proactively coordinated with localities to do a good job of mass mobilization, participated in gratitude activities, participated in resolving military policy issues; promoted the implementation of gratitude, and paid attention to improving the lives of policy beneficiaries. Especially in the emulation movement "Nghe An Armed Forces join hands to build new rural areas", the entire provincial armed forces participated with the locality for more than 44,132 working days, built more than 430 km of inter-village and inter-commune roads; at the same time, propagandized, guided production; built fences, repaired infirmaries and distributed medicine to people in Nam Giai (Que Phong), Na Ngoi, Muong Ai, Muong Tip (Ky Son) and Nam Thuong (Nam Dan) communes with an amount of over 400 million VND...

Entering 2016, together with the Military Region, the Military Region of Nghe An continues to promote the emulation movement to win, strive to achieve achievements to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the country and the army; successfully implement the Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee on military and defense tasks in 2016. In particular, agencies and units in the Provincial Military Region continue to thoroughly grasp and successfully implement the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress; Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term. Continue to promote the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers" and the emulation movement "Nghe An Provincial Military Region joins hands to build new countryside" associated with implementing "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" in depth, creating a new change, spreading widely in each cadre and soldier.
