Promoting Vietnamese tourism in Russia

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has just sent an official dispatch to the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, tourism businesses, travel agencies and hotels nationwide inviting them to participate in the Moscow International Tourism Fair 2013 (MITT 2013) taking place from March 20 to 23, 2013 in Russia. Units wishing to participate in the joint booth of the Vietnamese tourism industry at the fair need to send their registration documents to VNAT before November 30.

Statistics show that the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam is only about 100 thousand/year, but Russian tourists stay long and have high spending ability. The tourism industry's goal when participating in MITT Fair is to contribute to increasing the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam to 300 thousand by 2014.
