At the conference, the reporters were informed by Comrade Mai Van Ninh - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department on the content: Promoting the study and following of the core contents of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in accordance with the spirit of Directive 05 of the Politburo. The conference also heard a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs inform about the visit to China of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Orienting propaganda work in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Mai Van Ninh emphasized: All levels, sectors and localities need to continue to thoroughly grasp the purpose and requirements of the main contents in Directive 05 of the Politburo, create a widespread movement to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; make the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army deeply aware of the basic contents and great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Putting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle into the program and action plan to implement the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress, in conjunction with the study and implementation of the Resolutions of the 4th Central Committee (12th tenure), creating a clear change in Party building work...

At the same time, all levels, sectors and localities must strengthen inspection, supervision, detection, commendation and replication of advanced models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; overcome and prevent formalism, achievements, words not matching deeds, and dishonesty in implementing the Directive.

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Mai Van Ninh also emphasized: In the face of the fluctuations in the world situation, Party committees at all levels need to proactively receive and have propaganda orientations to cadres, party members and people; orientate extensive propaganda to cadres, party members and people about General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's visit to China so that cadres and people clearly understand the relationship between Vietnam and China.

Comrade Mai Van Ninh requested that reporters at all levels advise Party committees to step up propaganda work to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, not to be superstitious; strictly implement the Prime Minister's Directive absolutely prohibiting cadres and civil servants from going to temples and pagodas during working hours./.
