Speed ​​up site clearance work for the North-South railway overpass project

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, the Provincial People's Committee worked with relevant departments, branches and investors on site clearance for the North-South railway overpass construction project on National Highway 46. Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were representatives of Nghe An Electricity, Telecommunications and Water Supply Company.

The investment project to build the North-South railway interchange with National Highway 46 in Cua Nam ward, Vinh city is a key national project, invested in the form of BOT. The project is invested by the Traffic Construction Corporation 4 and the Vinh City People's Committee is in charge of site clearance. Currently, the Vinh City People's Committee has directed relevant levels to carry out site clearance work to hand over the site to the construction unit to implement the project on schedule. Thanks to that, at the construction site, the construction unit is organizing the embankment of the quai sanh across Cua Nam lake and on March 8-10 will proceed with bored pile drilling... However, currently the project's legal documents and files are not yet complete, the investor has not yet arranged the capital to carry out site clearance work. The procedure for relocating public works according to the correct process will take a lot of time, affecting the overall progress of the project, especially for water supply and electricity works.

After listening to the opinions of departments, branches, investors and related units, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien concluded and emphasized that the North-South railway overpass construction project on National Highway 46 is an important project that contributes to reducing traffic congestion and traffic accidents in the area, so the Vinh City People's Committee needs to actively coordinate with related units to focus on implementing site clearance work well to create conditions for the construction unit to carry out the project on schedule. On the side of the Traffic Construction Corporation 4, there needs to be a specific plan to both ensure traffic safety and ensure the quality of the project.
