According to the report of Vinh Urban Infrastructure Management Company, by May 31, 2011, 459/525 families had signed contracts to buy houses. Of the two applications C8 and C9, 99/101 households had fulfilled their financial obligations. The households spoke to welcome the City People's Committee for its efforts in handling the arising problems, ensuring the rights of the people, and at the same time raised some concerns and recommendations regarding the too low exemption and reduction regime, the inappropriate application of selling prices, etc.
The city's leadership representative explained the proposal and assigned specialized departments to advise and create conditions for households to fulfill their financial obligations, striving to complete the sale of houses and issue certificates by June 2011. Regarding the implementation of the renovation plan, the investor and households will have an agreement and commitment after receiving the red book, ensuring that the two severely damaged houses C8 and C9 must be cleared before the rainy season arrives.
