(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 9, the Provincial People's Committee inspected the site and worked with Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company (the investor) on the construction progress of the Northern Bus Station project (at Nghi Kim - Vinh City and the Southern Bus Station project (at Hung Loi Commune - Hung Nguyen). According to the progress of the Northern Bus Station project - Vinh City, the project has established and approved the technical design documents for construction, and has completed the leveling work. At the same time, the basic design documents for all works in the bus station area have been approved, along with that, the consulting unit has completed the work of establishing the technical design documents - cost estimates for the multi-purpose house item, establishing the technical design documents - cost estimates for the 250 KVA transformer station item. The fence construction item is expected to be completed by the end of October (3 months behind schedule compared to the plan), along with a number of other important items that the investor has not yet started construction.

At the Nam Bus Station project in Vinh City, the site clearance and construction of the fence and transformer station have only been completed. The remaining items have not been constructed yet and the investor has not fulfilled its commitment to the province.

At the working session with Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of relevant levels and sectors in coordinating site clearance for the two bus station construction projects. However, the project implementation progress is too slow, while the traffic volume of passenger vehicles entering and leaving Vinh city is very large and the situation of some means of transport picking up and dropping off passengers is not in the right place, affecting traffic safety... Therefore, Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company must focus on investing and implementing the progress of the two bus station construction projects on schedule, so that by June 30, 2015, the Northern Bus Station of Vinh City must be completed and put into use and by the end of 2015, the Southern Bus Station must be completed. Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien requested that the Departments and sectors need to coordinate and actively support the investor in resolving difficulties and problems so that the project can be completed on schedule.
