Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Notice No. 123 / TB- UBND.CN concluding comments of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien on the implementation status of Do Luong Cement Factory project after the recent working session with the factory and related sectors.

The announcement clearly stated: Do Luong Cement Factory project is a key project in attracting investment in the province. In recent times, all levels and sectors of the province have paid great attention, allocating budget to invest in roads, power lines, leveling and clearing land to serve the factory.

However, up to now, the project progress is too slow compared to the investor's commitment, creating negative public opinion, affecting the investment environment of Nghe An province. The Provincial People's Committee requests the investor, all levels and sectors to focus on implementing the tasks to complete the project in the first quarter of 2013. Request the investor, the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD), to have comprehensive solutions to remove difficulties, focus on directing Do Luong Cement Joint Stock Company to implement the project, and ensure capital to complete the project. Request HUD Group to have a commitment to implement the project progress and send it to the Provincial People's Committee before April 30, 2011. Request Do Luong Cement Joint Stock Company to concentrate human resources and resources, and closely coordinate with all levels and sectors to promptly resolve difficulties to speed up the project progress. The Department of Planning and Investment shall preside over and coordinate with the investor to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Government for consideration of incentive mechanisms for the project.
