Speeding up the progress of land acquisition and clearance for the Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard Project

(Baonghean) To speed up the implementation of the Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard Project, up to now, Vinh City has been promoting compensation and site clearance in related residential areas.

Regarding the recovery of agricultural land, the section passing through Nghi Duc commune, Vinh City People's Committee has approved a compensation plan in 2 phases with a total cost of over 42 billion VND. The City Land Fund Development Center has paid 198/233 households with the amount of 33.5 billion VND. Currently, the center is completing procedures to continue paying the remaining households.

The section passing through Nghi Phu commune, the compensation plan for site clearance has been approved by the City People's Committee for compensation and support of 23 billion VND. The City Land Fund Development Center has worked with Yen My Cooperative, Hong Hoa Thai Cooperative and households to pay, but 100% of households here do not accept the plan, do not receive money and request support of 35% of the average land price. The City Land Fund Development Center has reported to the Provincial People's Committee but has not been resolved.

Regarding the recovery of residential land and garden land of households and individuals, the city has conducted an inventory of the section through Nghi Phu and Nghi Duc communes, with 589 households having to relocate to resettlement areas. Faced with this situation, the Standing Committee of Vinh City Party Committee directed the City People's Committee to have a meeting with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghi Phu and Nghi Duc communes, to listen to people's feedback to find a solution.
