Speed up the progress of Vinh - Trung student housing area
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh - Trung student housing area (Trung Do ward) is one of the projects built with government bond capital. Up to now, the capital for the project has been basically disbursed.
The Vinh - Trung Student Housing Project (invested by the Management Board of Civil and Urban Infrastructure Projects) has a land area of 13,084 m2 and is built on a scale of 3 high-rise student housing buildings, each 16 floors high (with 1 basement), a construction area of 810 m2 and a total floor area of 12,960 m2.
In addition, Vinh - Trung student housing area also built a 2-storey multi-purpose house with a total floor area of 960 m2 and other auxiliary items such as swimming pool, sports field, interior installation for student rooms... It is expected that the housing area will accommodate more than 2,000 students. With synchronous and large-scale investment (total investment of 250,500 million VND), Vinh - Trung student housing area will be a "bright spot" in the field of student housing investment in Nghe An as well as in the North Central region.

With that important meaning, the Management Board of Civil and Urban Infrastructure Projects (investor) selected an experienced and capable contractor to undertake the project. This has been proven in practice in package 5 (student housing 1-2 and multi-purpose house). It can be seen that, in the past time, the construction materials market has fluctuated complicatedly, the weather is unusual, the construction geology is complicated, and pile driving is required... but the contractor of package 5, the Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation, has still ensured the set schedule. The contractor has established a construction site steering committee right at the foot of the project to manage and direct the project implementation. For all construction items, contractors have been mobilized with modern means, machinery and construction labor to ensure the schedule.
Up to now, package No. 5 has been completed by Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation with a large amount of construction. At student house No. 1, the rough construction has been completed and is being actively completed. At student house No. 2, the construction of 16/16 floors has been completed and the walls are being built up to the 10th floor. The multi-function house has completed the foundation. At student house No. 3 (package No. 4), the piles are currently completed...
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Director of Construction Enterprise No. 2 - Hanoi Housing Development Investment Corporation said: "Although it is the end of the year, but with the determination to complete on schedule, at the construction site of package No. 4 which is student housing No. 3, the construction unit still maintains hundreds of human resources and modern equipment and machinery such as concrete mixing stations, compactors, self-propelled cranes, wheel loaders... operating continuously to ensure the proposed time". The leader of the Management Board of Civil and Urban Infrastructure Projects said: "This is an important project and has always received attention and support from all levels and functional branches, so up to now the total capital allocated to the project is 97.34 billion VND, of which government bond capital is 90 billion VND, other capital is 7.34 billion VND.
Up to this point, the project has disbursed nearly 89 billion VND and the remaining capital is in the process of disbursement. The timely disbursement has created favorable conditions for contractors to speed up the construction progress. According to the plan, the Vinh - Trung student housing project will be basically completed in September 2012, so currently the contractors are actively working to ensure the progress.
