(Baonghean.vn)- In the current situation, the section of National Highway 7 from Km 148+00 to Km 148+500 (in Tam Thai commune - Tuong Duong) is often flooded by the Khe Bo hydroelectric reservoir and landslides. Vietnam Power Development Joint Stock Company has invested in a project to avoid flooding in the Khe Bo hydroelectric reservoir worth 12.5 billion VND.
The project started in January 2015, according to the commitment to put into use within 12 months, up to this point the construction unit has mobilized many vehicles and machinery to excavate over 120,000 m3 of earth and rock, completed the roadbed, and is expected to put into use by October 2015 (2 months ahead of schedule). Currently the construction unit is focusing on constructing the roadbed, handling landslides, ensuring the completion of key items before the rainy season.
